Decorating your locations to create a day to remember doesn’t have to break the bank. Using some of the below ideas will help add the romantic touches needed to make your spaces pop!

Tulle:
Tulle is a light weight fabric very useful for wedding decorations. The fabric can be used to drape down the pews of a church, to create bows, and to make other “soft” touches throughout the locations. Tulle can also be used to wrap favors and decorate reception tables. Luckily tulle comes in many different colors so you can choose from a variety of options.

Mirrors:
Mirrors can be used on table tops and even walls to help reflect light and give the illusion of more space.

Candles:
Candles can be used throughout the wedding ceremony and/or reception. Candelabras, individual candles or pew pieces can add light to the wedding, while centerpieces and buffet table tops can showcase candles at the reception.

Strands of Lights:
If you opt for draping tulle or vines try adding stringed lights to the mix for a stronger statement. Another alternative is if you choose to use silk trees for décor. Add these stringed lights to the branches, and don’t worry this works great even if your wedding is during the summer months!

Silk Plants/Trees:
If you’re looking to add some “life” without spending too much money, try silk plants and trees as an alternative. Silk trees can be placed throughout the space and you can even add strings of lights for a romantic glow. Silk flowers can be used as centerpieces or as accent pieces. To save some money ask your family and friends if they have any of these silk creations for you to borrow on the big day.

Colored Lighting:
Using colored lighting throughout a reception can not only spread your color scheme throughout the area, but add some aesthetic touches. These lights can highlight corners, tables, or plants.

Ice Sculptures:
Whether you’re having a summer or winter wedding, ice sculptures are a great addition to any reception. Ice sculptures can be molded into almost anything, giving a lot of flexibility to your decision making.

Fountains:
Fountains can come in the form of water features, beverage fountains and even chocolate fountains. Using fountains in your wedding will add some movement along with provide guests with some entertainment.
